After the acquisition in January 2023 of the 1health group, Europa Group continues its growth and strengthens its leadership in training and health information. AGM, led by Christophe Gilliet and Jean-Marc Alazard, brings together 4 companies specialized in health communication, medical education and online press. The new group constitutes a group of 430 employees for a consolidated turnover estimated at 135 million euros.

From now on, "any gathering involving more than 1,000 people at the same time is prohibited on
national territory until April 15, 2020".

Among them, the decision to extend until 31st May 2020 the ban on "any gathering involving more than 5,000 people simultaneously in an enclosed area".

Europa Group announces the acquisition of Downtown Europe, a Belgian company founded in 1991, specialising in the organisation of large congresses and tailor-made conferences. Medical Societies, European Institutions and International Associations collaborate with Downtown Europe to gather, share knowledge and develop relationships with their target audience.
By incorporating Downtown Europe, Europa Group is increasing its reach in the congress market and intends to develop business synergies with the current offer of services of the different business units of the group such as congress and event organisation, medical publishing, medical education, digital services and housing bureau.
Europa Group and Phili@ unite their activities as medical congress organiser and scientific editor, giving rise to a French group of 260 human resources that will attain a turnover of €90 million at the end of 2017.
With the acquisition of Phili@, Europa Group expands its editorial offer and widens its prospects for development by creating new collaborative synergies. By means of its international standing, it notably intends to further Edimark’s activities, respecting their existing know-how and favouring the harmonious development of expertise.
